The Maryland Green Party Annual Assembly is May 3, 2008 at Towson University. Maryland Greens will vote on Presidential Nominations at this time.

2006 Election: Baltimore Green Party Candidates
Maryland Unity Convention at University of Baltimore. Green, Libertarian and Populist Parties joined forces to back Kevin Zeese for U.S. Senate. Among the speakers joining Zeese (center) were (pictured clockwise from upper right) Michael Berg, Green Party U.S. Congressional candidate in Delaware; Ralph Nader; Linda Schade; and playwright Papi Kymone Freeman. In the 2004 election, nine times as many votes in Baltimore City were cast for Greens than were cast in the 2000 election. More than five times as many voters chose Green candidates. Greens garnered more votes than Republicans did in four of the six Baltimore City council races where they ran head-to-head.

running for City Council offices for the November 2004 election.

Following the Baltimore candidates, the keynote speaker was Matt Gonzalez, a Green who is President of the San Francisco Board of Supervisors and nearly became the mayor of San Francisco in the December 2003 run-off election. Gail Dixon of the DC Statehood Green Party, a former elected DC school board member, also spoke.
